Im doing the World Vision 40 hour challenge to provide kids with food for today, and a future for tomorrow.   Im giving up food for 40 hours to stand with children who dont get to make that choice because of things they cant control like poverty and the effects of climate change. 

Communities in the Solomon Islands have relied on fishing and farming for generations, but rising sea levels are flooding their gardens and making it harder to catch fish. In the Pacific region, 1 in 6 children are living in severe food poverty, however, together we can change that.

Through this year’s challenge, we’re raising funds so communities like Polyne’s can grow up healthy and strong, even as the climate changes. Your support will help provide seeds and tools for climate-smart farming, and plant mangroves to protect gardens from flooding and bring fish back to shore.
