Register your school for the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge now!
Hundreds of schools across Aotearoa are stepping up to raise funds and give kids like Polyne in Solomon Islands food for today, and a future for tomorrow. Make your school one of them!
The World Vision 40 Hour Challenge is your chance to give your students real-world experience in making a difference. Challenge your students to go 40 Hours Offline and get their community to sponsor them!
We’re here to support you every step of the way and make it as easy and effective as possible. Send us an email today at schools@worldvision.org.nz
How to boost your school's fundraising:
Build a student leadership team
Kick things off by rallying 4–8 passionate students who are ready to lead and make a real impact. Give them the reins to set the vision and steer the challenge—when students lead, the whole school gets inspired!
Equip and empower your leaders
Set your team up for success! Book your World Vision 40 Hour Challenge Planning Workshop to supercharge their ideas. Or invite a youth ambassador who’s met Polyne to share and inspire your students. Email schools@worldvision.org.nz to book now!
Get the word out!
Spread the word far and wide through posters, newsletters, social media, and WV40HC videos. Your leaders can share their personal challenge and sponsor stories to inspire others. When they lead by example, everyone will want to follow!
Boost excitement and rally support
Turn up the fun with a little friendly competition—offer house points, prizes, or pizza for students who fundraise the most. Have leaders rally the students and throw a fun pre-event like a non-uniform day or obstacle course to fire up your school!
Complete your challenge!
This is it! Join thousands of students across Aotearoa for the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge from 13th–15th June. All your planning comes to life here—follow @40hournz for encouragement, and ways to connect with others taking on the challenge.
Celebrate and give thanks
Encourage one last donation push and bank all cash by 27th June. Book a Thank You Assembly Talk so we can celebrate your impact, present awards, and shout out your amazing student leaders, staff, and school community. You made this happen!
How to set up and manage your School's fundraising page
This is a brand-new website for 2025, which means your login details from last year won’t work. Sign up and follow the prompts — a new account will be created as you go!

Create a Team
1. In your "My Organisation" dashboard, click “Create a Team”.
2. Enter your team details.
3. Share the team link and invite others to join.
4. The person who creates the team will automatically be the Team Captain.
Change your School fundraising goal
1. Go to your “My Organisation” dashboard.
2. Click “Edit Organisation Page”.
3. Update the “School Fundraising Target” field.
4. Click “Update details” to save your changes.
