World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
Hi everyone!!!
My name is Karen, Im a 17 year old from Macleans College and my goal this year is to raise $500 for the 40 hour famine. It would mean the world to me if you could help me achieve this goal so we can help our fellow brothers and sisters who happen to be less fortunate than us. It’s my sister’s birthday during the 40 Hour Famine, and that really made me think, being able to celebrate moments like this with family is something we often take for granted.
Even though it’s my sister’s birthday during this time and I know it's going to be harder to refrain from these things, I still wanted to take part in the 40 Hour Famine , because being able to celebrate moments like this with family is something we’re lucky to have.
So, as a way to reflect on what others go without every day, from 13–15 June I’ll be giving up:
