World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

Hey everyone! My name’s Laith and I’m excited to be taking part in the 40 Hour Challenge for the very first time! 

 This year, I’m raising money to support children in the Solomon Islands who are struggling to access regular, nutritious meals. I hope to not only make a difference, but also inspire others to join this meaningful cause. 

 Here’s what I’ll be doing for 40 hours:

No technology - I’ll be going completely offline. No internet, no electronics, and no contact with the outside world (except for my family and those around me).

Wearing only 5 items of clothing - To better understand the challenges others face, I’ll stick to just five items: pants, socks, shoes, a jumper, and a shirt.

Voluntary service - I’ll complete at least 10 voluntary tasks in my community – things like mowing lawns, walking dogs, baking for others, or helping out however I can!

It's only my second day of fundraising, and we've already surpassed two goals—$300 and $500! I’m incredibly grateful, and so are the many children who will now have access to nutritious meals.

Thanks to your amazing support, I’ve decided to raise our goal to $1,250. Reaching this milestone would be an incredible achievement and could truly help shape a better future for children in the Solomon Islands.
