My 40 Hour Challenge

Kia ora everyone!!!

I'm Menzie, and this year I’m taking part in the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge 2025. 

Did you know, that in the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids are living in severe food poverty? That's crazy right? 

Together though, we can make a difference. By donating today, you change the lives of hundreds of innocent children. The money that you fund me will go towards helping families farm climate-smart crops and plant mangroves so they can feed their children in a changing climate.

In the past, I've gone without food, done 40 km, and ran a marathon. This year I wanted to do something that would really test me, mentally and physically. 

Sooooo, as my challenge this year, I'm going to do 400 laps of the swimming pool in 40 hours. I will be taking part in this epic challenge at Moana Pool, which lane pools are 25m one way. I don't want to force you to math, so I'll just do it for you: 

By doing 400 laps of a 25m pool, I will be doing 10km swimming. 

Now don't get me wrong, that is a LONG way. But if I can swim that far, in that short amount of time, then you can donate to me $2, $5, $10, $20 or more!!!

So let's provide kids in Solomon Islands with food for today, and a future for tomorrow. Donate now to help kids in the Pacific get enough food to grow up healthy and strong. Together, we can do anything.
