World Vision Youth Ambassador

World Vision Advocacy Ambassador
Here are this year’s World Vision Youth Ambassadors, visiting one of the communities where World Vision works in Solomon Islands. Next year, that could be you! Join us at World Vision for a six-month paid internship. To be eligible, you have to have participated in the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge at your school and have your full New Zealand drivers’ licence by March 2026.
Here’s the team in November last year delivering 2,000 postcards written by youth across the motu. They handed the postcards to our politicians with a clear message: in budget discussions ensure New Zealand pays its fair share of climate finance. As an Advocacy Ambassador, you can create real change through political advocacy campaigns like this.
Express your interest!
Who can apply and what happens next?
For both roles, you need to be in your final year of high school OR in your first year out of high school. If you aren't, we'd love to hear from you in the future!
To be eligible as a Youth Ambassador you have to have participated, preferably in a leadership role in the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge at your school or church, and have your full NZ drivers license by March 2026.
Your expression of interest will remind us to let you know when applications open in August. We will send you an email or a text then! If you have any questions in the meantime, please email us at schools@worldvision.org.nz
