World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

🌿 40 HOURS. ZERO PACKETS. ONE BIG GOAL. 🌿

Our school is taking on the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge, but we’re doing things a little differently this year.

From 8:00 PM Wednesday, 17th June to Noon on Friday, 19th June, we are ditching all processed foods. That means no chips, no chocolate, no energy drinks, and no "instant" meals. We are going back to basics with a 100% Wholefoods Challenge.

🇸🇧 Why the Solomon Islands?

In the Solomon Islands, life is tied to the land. But rising sea levels and changing weather are making it harder for families to grow the food they need. By giving up the convenience of processed snacks and cooking from scratch, we are standing in solidarity with our Pacific neighbors.

🏫 The Mid-Week Sleepover

On Thursday night, our participants are staying over at school! We’ll be:

  • 🔪 Prepping a massive wholefood "Build-Your-Own Bowl" feast.

  • 🎓 Learning about food security and climate resilience.

  • 🤝 Working together to reach our fundraising targets.

💪 How You Can Help

We’ve traded the pantry for the garden to help provide farmers in the Solomon Islands with the seeds, tools, and skills they need to stay resilient.

Every dollar counts! Please click the "Donate" button on this page to support our students. Your contribution goes directly to World Vision’s work in the Pacific, helping turn this 40-hour sacrifice into a lifetime of change.

World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

We're doing the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to provide kids with food for today, and a future for tomorrow.

In the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids is living in severe food poverty. Together, we can change that. I'm raising funds to help families farm climate-smart crops and plant mangroves so they can feed their children in a changing climate.

Please donate now to help kids in the Pacific get enough food to grow up healthy and strong. 40 hours? Challenge accepted!
