OUR GOAL

Kia ora, everyone! We are the World Vision Youth Ambassadors for 2025 and have united to fundraise $10,000 for our friends in the Solomon Islands. We were privileged enough to visit the beautiful Solos in December and see first-hand the devastating impacts climate change has on food sources - a basic need (and right) for our Pacific neighbours. We were incredibly moved by the passion of the rangatahi of the Solomon Islands, who have really inspired our own journeys. Help us raise 10 thousand dollars to make a huge impact in the lives of our friends just across the ocean.
WHAT ARE WE DOING

We're doing the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to help raise funds and give kids in Solomon Islands food for today, and a future for tomorrow.
We are taking on a series of challenges across the motu. At the tippy top, Asher will be kayaking 40 km (he has never kayaked before... we are scared for him), and Joel is serving up more than 2000 meals with Everybody Eats Auckland, helping address both global but also local challenges with access to nutritious and affordable food. Down a bit further to windy Welly, James will be filming 40 conversations of hope - with some familiar and unfamiliar faces - learning about how we stay afloat in this sometimes scary world. And all the way down to ōtautahi CHCH, Holly has already completed 40 hours off grid in the wet, wild, and fridgidly cold Banks Peninsula - braving the snow to walk more than 20kms, summiting the tallest mountain in Banks Peninsula (Mt Herbert) along the way. She will now be mucking in at some local challenges over the official challenge weekend!
Follow along to see how our weekends unfold (if Asher's arms fall off come Sunday) and donate anything and everything to support those in need in Solomon Islands!
