World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
Kia Ora, I’m Abigail Birch and I am taking on the 40 Hour Challenge this year by going without food for 40 hours to raise awareness and funds for people in need around the world. For me, this challenge is about stepping outside my comfort zone and getting a small glimpse of what so many people experience daily, not knowing when their next meal will come.
Over these 40 hours, I’ll be pushing myself mentally and physically, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges others face every day. Every donation, big or small, will go towards supporting communities who need it most and helping create lasting change.
If you’re able to support me, I’d be so grateful. Whether that’s donating or simply sharing this page, it all makes a difference. Sharing it on your social platforms or passing it on to friends and family helps spread the message further than I ever could on my own.

Yesterday morning I completed my 40 Hours Without Food challenge as part of the World Vision 40 Hour Famine.
Over the weekend, I took part in the full 40 hours without food to stand in solidarity with children facing hunger around the world. It was challenging at times, but also a really meaningful experience that kept me focused on why I was doing it.
I’m so grateful to have finished the 40 Hour Weekend having raised $8,065 🧡

Fundraising update
Thursday 18th JunTomorrow at 7:30pm I’ll be starting my challenge, 40 hours with no food to raise money for communities in the Solomon Islands.
