World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
Offline and off-grid for a short time, impact for a lifetime!
For this year's World Vision 40 Hour Challenge, I am going completely analog - ditching all digital screens, devices, and interfaces for 40 hours straight to plan, draft and write a piece of writing around the situation in the Solomon Islands.
Right now, families in the Solomon Islands are facing increasing challenges to grow enough food as climate change affects their crops and livelihoods. That's why I'm choosing to raise funds to help provide the seeds, tools, and resources they need to feed their children and build a more secure future.
This kaupapa matters because across the Pacific, 1 in 6 children are living in severe food poverty. Behind that statistic are real children going to bed hungry and families struggling to put food on the table. Think about if you were in that situation. Just a small donation would bring so much joy to their lives.
The good news is that together, we can help change this. Every donation, no matter the size, helps equip families with the resources and knowledge to grow their own food and become more resilient to the challenges they face.
As rangatahi and kaitiaki in Aotearoa, we have an opportunity and a responsibility to stand alongside our Pacific neighbours and make a meaningful difference.
