World Vision: 40 Treats Challenge

Hi guys! This year, I'll be baking 40 different treats for my 40 Hour Challenge! But why?

While we live with stocked pantries and food wasted every day, families across the Solomon Islands are facing extreme weather, crop loss, and food insecurity. In some cases, mango tree seeds become the ONLY food left after climate conditions destroy access to crops. That should never be normal.

We have resources, opportunities, clean water, and choice, things many families are still fighting for access to. And pretending it’s not our problem doesn’t really change the fact that these are our neighbours. 

So no, sponsoring me and baking cookies may not solve climate injustice overnight. But choosing to care is a big step towards change! We do have a say in the kind of world we create, and I want to be a part of that!
