This kaupapa matters because in the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids are living in severe food poverty. Together, rangatahi in Aotearoa can help change that.

Kia ora everone, this year I am participating in the 40 Hour Chalange to support children  in the Solomon Islands. This is particularly special to me as not only are these childern our Pacific neighbours, but Delight my sponsor child through the World Vison Chosen program, lives in the Solomon Islands and I know the hope this programme has brought to her community. My challenge is to carry all my water I use in the 40 hours with me in a bucket and not to use furniture. I hope this will make me more conscious of how much water I use and the things I take for granted in my everyday life!
