World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
Kia Ora, I'm participating in the World Vision 40-Hour Famine Challenge to provide food and more for families and kids in the Solomon Islands. We had to give up something for 40 hours to participate. I gave up Water and Technology for 40 hours.
In the Pacific region, one in six children lives in severe food poverty. Together, we can change that.
$28 can provide a vegetable garden for a family
$42 can train someone in climate-smart agriculture
$98 can provide seeds and tools for a family
$189 can help restore ecosystems and mangrove planting
The money I've raised has already provided 6 families a garden, trained 3 people on climate-smart agriculture, or provided seeds and tools for a family.
