World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
Giving Up 40 Things in 40 Hours
This year, I am taking part in the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to raise money for families in the Solomon Islands who face challenges that many of us never have to think about. Access to food, clean water, healthcare, education, and safe living conditions can be difficult for many people, and I want to do my part to help make a difference.
To challenge myself, I will be giving up one thing from my everyday life every hour for 40 hours. As the challenge progresses, life will become more and more difficult as I lose the comforts and necessities that I normally rely on. For example, at hour 4, I will have to remove my pillow, this means that for next 36 hours I can not use a pillow.
The goal is to put myself outside of my comfort zone while raising awareness and funds for those who struggle without these things every day.

For many of us, these things are everyday comforts that we barely notice. We can charge our phones, eat whenever we are hungry, travel where we want, and sleep comfortably at night. However, many families in the Solomon Islands do not have access to the same opportunities and resources.
By giving up 40 things over 40 hours, I hope to gain a better understanding of how difficult life can be when basic comforts and necessities are unavailable. More importantly, I hope to raise money that can help World Vision support communities that need it most.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help make a real difference.
Thank you for supporting me and helping create positive change for families in the Solomon Islands.
