World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
I’m doing the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to provide kids with food for today, and a future for tomorrow.
In the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids is living in severe food poverty. Together, we can change that. I'm raising funds to help families farm climate-smart crops and plant mangroves so they can feed their children in a changing climate.
My challenge this year is 40 meals in 40 hours. My mum and I cooked 40 servings of beef stew and 40 of chocolate cake and took them across the road to the Beach Haven food bank. A huge thank you to my mum, every one who contributed by donating meat or slow cookers, and for all my sponsors. Please consider donating to help kids in the Pacific get enough food to grow up healthy and strong.
I'm doing my challenge Matariki weekend because on the weekend of the 40 hour challenge my dad had covid and we didn't want to prepare food for others with sickness floating around.
