World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

Kia ora koutou,

First off, WOW!!! What an incredible effort our ākonga have made this year. Thank you to all the parents, whānau, neighbours, coworkers and friends who donated to support our kura and the 40 Hour Challenge. As a school we have raised just over $6,900, enough to provide over 180 families in the Solomon Islands with sustainable, climate-proof vegetable gardens. 

Young people like Polyne will be able to go to bed with full tummies and fewer worries about their futures thanks to the incredible efforts of our students. 

Te Kura Mareko, and our wider community, you have smashed it. 

Thank you again for your support, it means the world to us.

Te Kura Mareko Casebrook Intermediate will be taking part in the 2025 40 Hour Challenge! Our goal is to raise as much as we can to help tamariki struggling with food security in the Solomon Islands. 

The 40 Hour Challenge runs from June the 13th-15th, so pop it in the calendar!
