World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

Hi,

I'm Claire and I'm raising money to help people in the Solomon Islands get enough food to feed themselves and their families.

Rising tides and droughts due to climate change are making it increasingly hard for fishing and growing crops. 1 in 6 children in the Solomon Islands don't get enough food each day.

The donations will go towards planting mangroves to draw in fishes and other things to help make growing crops easier. I will be raising this money by collecting 40 bags of rubbish in 40 hours.

I did this challenge last year and wish to thank everyone who donated. Our school raised over $5,000!

Please support me again this year as I work hard to clean my local environment and raise money for a worthwhile charity.

Good luck with your challenge. PS My dad says give your mum a rubbish back for a raincoat and the dustbin man might cart her away.

Well done Claire, I just hope you are not as wet and stinky as last year (and I didn't love the flies that followed you into the car. . .) Love Mumxx
