I'm raising funds along with Ponsonby Intermediate so that families in the Solomon Islands can get the seeds, tools and skills they need to grow crops to feed their children in a changing climate by giving up all devices for 40 Hours!
This included -
No Watching The World Cup! ⚽
No Devices! 💻
And No Looking At Other People's Devices 📲
Which included not being able to see my family overseas for those 40 Hours - which is a sacrifice I know some people make unwillingly across the world.
This kaupapa matters because in the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids are living in severe food poverty. Together, rangatahi in Aotearoa can help change that.
