My Birthday 40 Hour Challenge
This year, I want to celebrate my birthday a little differently.
As I get older, I sometimes find myself becoming more sceptical and negative about the world we live in. I want to push back against that. So, instead of a birthday party, I’m doing an anti-birthday party: going without food for 40 hours while spending time in reflection, prayer, and gratitude for the good things in life.
World Vision’s early story has a special connection with Korea, my home country, and I feel privileged to now be in a position where I can fundraise for their work in the Solomon Islands.
I hope you’ll join me in raising hope for humanity by supporting vulnerable communities to become more resilient against climate change, poverty, and hardship.
