World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

I’m doing the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to provide kids with food for today, and a future for tomorrow.

In the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids is living in severe food poverty. Together, we can change that. I'm raising funds to help families farm climate-smart crops and plant mangroves so they can feed their children in a changing climate.

Please donate now to help kids in the Pacific get enough food to grow up healthy and strong. 40 hours? Challenge accepted!

My Updates

we are also doing 40,000 steps in 40 hours

Tuesday 10th Jun

This weekend, I’ll be walking 40,000 steps in 40 hours. Sounds like a fitness challenge, right? But it’s much more than that. Every step I take is a symbol — a symbol of the long, exhausting, and often dangerous journeys that millions of children and families in vulnerable communities must make every day, just to access the basics: water, food, school, or safety.

While I can choose to walk for a cause, many children have no choice but to walk for survival.

By committing to 40,000 steps, I’m walking in solidarity with them. I’m recognising their strength, their endurance, and their resilience. Every step I take is a reminder of the distance that separates them from opportunity — and the steps we can take together to close that gap.

Sponsoring me means helping provide essentials like clean water, nutritious food, education, and emergency support. It’s a way of saying we see their struggle, and we choose to act.

So please support me — because every step counts, not just for my challenge, but for their future.

We are doing 40 hours no complaining

Tuesday 10th Jun

For 40 hours, I’m giving up complaining — no whinging about early mornings, cold weather, schoolwork, or even when someone finishes the snacks I was saving. Why? Because I'm doing it for those who face real struggles, every single day, without the luxury of complaining.

This challenge symbolises something much bigger than just staying silent about small annoyances. It represents the voices of those we’re fundraising for — children and families in vulnerable communities who often suffer in silence. They don’t complain because survival is their full-time job. Many of them live without access to clean water, food, education, or safe homes — things many of us take for granted.

By not complaining, we symbolise standing in solidarity with them. We’re choosing to be mindful, to listen, and to acknowledge that their daily reality is far more challenging than anything we’ll face in 40 hours.

So when you sponsor me, you’re not just supporting my challenge. You’re amplifying their voices. You’re helping provide essentials, dignity, and hope. You're saying, I see you. I care. I'm willing to do something about it.

Sponsor me — because 40 hours of silence can speak volumes.
