World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
I'm taking part in the challenge my school will be holding to raise funds for the 40 hour challenge, from 8:40am Thursday 18th, to 3:10pm Friday 19th me and many others will be walking for the equivalent of 5 minutes every hour for 40 hours to show our support and raise funds for this amazing cause.
I'm raising funds so families in Solomon Islands can get the seeds, tools and skills they need to grow crops to feed their children in a changing climate.
This kaupapa matters because in the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids are living in severe food poverty. Together, rangatahi in Aotearoa can help change that.
Your support would mean so much to me. This cause means a lot to me because I think it's important that families are able to feel stable in being able to provide food for themselfs and children and grow crops. To know that there is going to be enough food for them and not have to worry about the climate and weather affecting their crops and if they're going to be able to provide for themselves or their children, and though we can't change the weather we can help people living in food poverty in the Solomon Islands.
Please donate today so kids in the Pacific get enough food to grow up healthy and strong.
If 25 people donated just $5 we would raise $125, that can make a huge difference for people living in food poverty in the Solomon Islands. Just $98 provides an entire family in the Solomon Islands with the essential seeds and farming tools they need to feed their children, this shows you can make a real difference.
Now’s the time to stand up and make a difference for our neighbours in the Pacific. Donate to my page and help me raise funds for the 40 hour challenge to support the people in the Solomon Islands today!
