Electricity Free for 40 Hours.
I am fundraising with my best friend for the Solomon Islands. By going 40 hours without electricity, we are aiming to help the people in the Solomon Islands receive crop seeds and materials to feed their families.
Many families in the Solomon Islands relied on fishing to get their food. But since global warming, these families have to go out further to find food, their crops are dying, and sometimes they cannot provide the food to keep their children thriving.
By spending 40 hours without electricity, we aim to help these families provide nutrient-rich food to their kids.
