40 Hours 40 kind messages around our communities using natural materials.

This 40 hour challenge weekend, I've decided to challenge myself to spread positive messages around the community using natural materials. This is important to me as a community, and world it is important that we are there and supportive of one another. The importance of support and working together as one people is one of the reasons I chose to participate in the 40 hour challenge as it is a great way to help those in need in the Solomon Islands. 

All the waste we produce today, contributes to issues, which island nations such as the Solomon's are suffering from despite them not being a driving factor in this pollution. So,  why not spread positive messages but in an eco-friendly way using the beautiful natural resources we have at hand? So that's what I'll be doing, whether it's in the sand at our beautiful beaches, or using branches and leaves at our local parks,  allowing for everyone in our community to have access.

I'm raising funds so families in Solomon Islands can get the seeds, tools and skills they need to grow crops to feed their children in a changing climate.
 
This kaupapa matters because in the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids are living in severe food poverty. Together, rangatahi in Aotearoa can help change that.
