We’re raising funds so families in Solomon Islands can get the seeds, tools and skills they need to grow crops to feed their children in a changing climate.
This kaupapa matters because in the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids are living in severe food poverty. Together, rangatahi in Aotearoa can help change that.
For our 40 Hour Challenge, me and my team are stepping away from our normal food habits and living off the small portions of food that many people in Solomon Islands eat each day. During the challenge, we will only be eating small bowls of rice and vegetables to help us understand what life can be like for families facing food shortages and hunger.
