World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
Kia Ora,
My name is George, and I'm taking on the 40 hour challenge this year to raise money for the Solomon Islands by busking with my Viola and donating all of my takings.
For me this challenge is about stepping outside my comfort zone and putting myself out there to help other people. I was born with Symbrachydactyly and so playing a Viola with only one hand is not easy, also I don't like to perform in front of a lot of people. This year I have decided that busking in public is a lot easier than going without food or clean water.
I'm raising funds so families in Solomon Islands can get the seeds, tools and skills they need to grow crops to feed their children in a changing climate.
This kaupapa matters because in the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids are living in severe food poverty. Together, rangatahi in Aotearoa can help change that.
Your support would mean so much to me. Please donate today so kids in the Pacific get enough food to grow up healthy and strong.
Now’s the time to stand up and make a difference for our neighbours in the Pacific.
