Geris 40 Hour Challenge

have you ever wondered how lucky we are to live in a nice house, with unlimited food, running water, able to go anywhere in a car, attending great schools, and able to access anything online?well for this 40 hour challenge, i'll be attempting to (individually) raise $999, 999, 999 and with my team a total of $750 for kids in the solomon islands living in poverty - they don't have access to any of the resources i mentioned above; but with every donation, we can work together to help them grow up healthy and strong. for 40 hours, i'll be challenging myself to take a walk in their shoes, and participate in activities to make a difference:1. limited resources: - food: i'll have 4 serves of toast and some to last the whole 40 hours - transport: i will transport myself by means of either bike or walking - no cars- clothing: i'll only have access to 10 clothing garments (and it's winter)- water: 4 liters of water to drink for 40 hours 2. $40 - before the 40 hours starts, i'll prepare some products to sell, like baking and collouring books and then during the time, i'll sell the items in attempt to raise a minimum of $40 which will go towards our pages, getting us closer to our goal of $750. also, i'll pick up at least 40 pieces of rubbish to help combat pollution and preserve the natural environment for future generations. please, as you're eating a tasty dinner tonight, take a moment to spare a thought for those whose stomachs are rumbling. surely you can at least donate the cost of something as small as your sesame seeds ($7) to help provide these kids with a smile and full belly, because every cent truly counts to making this world - our world - a better place. your help means everything, to these children in the islands and to me for your support. thanks a million, geri :)p.s if you want to join my team its called record breakers.
