World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

I’m doing the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to provide kids with food for today, and a future for tomorrow.

In the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids is living in severe food poverty. Together, we can change that. I'm raising funds to help families farm climate-smart crops and plant mangroves so they can feed their children in a changing climate.

Please donate now to help kids in the Pacific get enough food to grow up healthy and strong. 40 hours? Challenge accepted!

Any form of entertainment banned for 40hrs. No more gaming, reading, writing, pinterest-sing or origami for enjoyment. Let's do this :D

My Updates

Ending of 40hr timeperiod

Sunday 15th Jun
Didn't go onto my laptop for the entire weekend (except for these updates and classes of course) to prevent procrastination. Went back to attempting work with pen and paper :D The absence of a device in a world of recent technology was jarring.

Timetabling early morning

Saturday 14th Jun
Woke up early to construct this masterpiece :DDD No entertainment :D

Nearing the end of Day 1

Friday 13th Jun
Never felt so productive for a long time. Perhaps I'm just used to being privileged. Makes me wonder about those who spend every waking hour to survive.  How inspiring, and a challenge to rise to. Starting with a weekly accomplishment table for a month:

First two periods

Friday 13th Jun
My table is unusually tidy today. What's missing you may ask? My paper cranes, poetry, and doodles. It's a new feeling; is this what people call 'locking in'?. Perhaps it just highlights the important need for education, and my lacking focus in contrast to those in places where education is not accessible to all.
