World Vision 20 Hour Challenge
I'm going offline for 20 hours to support kids around 5-12 years old in need. I'm raising funds so families in Solomon Islands so can live a better life.
Did you know in the Pacific region, 1 of 6 kids have to live in extreme poverty? This means no proper clothing, wearing the same piece for a long time, they can't even guarantee having a full belly and their homes are made from rotting wood and scraps of metal. Who wants to live like this? Furthermore, nearly 30% of children under five suffer from malnutrition. Only 50% attend primary school, because of the long distances. An average school walk can take around 2.5 hours!
Every $1 -> $3 worth of care and protection. $1 donation also provides $12 worth of urgent food aid. Every $1 -> $5 to build safer homes for families. Just $5 a month can provide a child in the Pacific with access to clean water permanently!
Now’s the time to stand up and make a difference for our neighbours, many kids are struggling and our resources must not be taken for granted! Let's fight for them! Every donation helps and goes towards the Solomon islands. A small amount can have a big impact. My goal is $500 and I hope that the Solomon Islands kids can live in great conditions after this. It would help a lot if you just donated $1. Thank you so much!
