I am taking part in the 40 hour famine for the Solomon Islands who face severe hidden hunger and malnutrition crises.
While residents consume enough calories, diets lack vitamins and minerals, leading to one of the highest child stunting rates; This is worsened by climate-related crop failures, overfishing, and reliance on cheap, processed imports.
With your help we can support the locals & provide donations to fund tools, seeds, soil, fertiliser & essential supplies to help grow crops & replenish fresh produce to the area relieving pressure of imports.
