Doing the 40 Hour Challange!
I’m doing the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to provide kids with food for today, and a future for tomorrow.
In the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids is living in severe food poverty. Together, we can change that. I'm raising funds to help families farm climate-smart crops and plant mangroves so they can feed their children in a changing climate.
Please donate now to help kids in the Pacific get enough food to grow up healthy and strong. 40 hours? Challenge accepted!
I am eliminating my use of home Wi-Fi, mobile data, and the electricity required to keep these devices powered and charged, While a couple of dollars saved might seem small in my daily life, that same amount has a vastly different value in the Solomon Islands.
In the Solomon Islands, many families live on less than $4 a day. The money I am saving and the funds I hope to raise is equal to what a family there might need to survive for an entire week.
Right now, these communities are facing a food crisis caused by rising sea levels and extreme weather destroying their crops. The cost of a single takeaway coffee or a data top-up here can provide a family there with a pack of climate-resilient seeds or the essential tools needed to replant a flooded garden.
My goal is to raise $100 to bridge this gap and provide direct support to those on the front lines of the climate crisis.
If you are able to support this cause, please donate or share to spread the word. Every dollar represents a important and valued resource for a family in need.
