World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

Blood & Leukaemia & Blood Cancer Firefighter Sky Tower Stair Challenge

Every year, firefighters from across New Zealand take on the ultimate test of strength, endurance, and determination in the Firefighter Sky Tower Stair Challenge. Wearing full firefighting protective clothing and breathing apparatus weighing approximately 25 kilograms, participants climb 1,103 steps over 51 floors to the top of Auckland's iconic Sky Tower.

But this challenge is about more than reaching the summit. Firefighters raise vital funds to support Blood Cancer New Zealand, helping New Zealanders affected by leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other serious blood disorders. The funds raised provide patient support services, education, advocacy, and assistance for individuals and families facing blood cancer.

Every donation, large or small, helps make a difference. By supporting a firefighter in the Sky Tower Stair Challenge, you are helping provide hope, care, and support to Kiwis during some of the most difficult times in their lives.

Your contribution helps firefighters turn every step into support for New Zealand families affected by blood cancer.

Donate. Support. Climb for a Cause.

🚒Together, we can make every step count.
