World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
Kia Ora! My name is Jared Boyter, and I will be going 40 hours this year without furniture. No beds, no chairs, no couch, etc. This challenge will help me leave the comfort zone I have been used to. I don't think I have ever gone one day of my life where I haven't had the comfort of such necessities, such as furniture.
I am doing this for the children and families that do not have access to these privileges, and being able to understand what they go through will help me see how privileged I really am.
The funds I raise for this challenge will go to the families in Solomon Islands, so they can get the seeds, tools and skills they need to grow crops to feed their children in a changing climate.
This kaupapa matters because in the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids are living in severe food poverty. Together, rangatahi in Aotearoa can help change that. Your support would mean so much to me.
