I'm going to be writing 14,000 words in 40 hours.
That's right.
14,000...
This year, I'm taking part in the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to raise money for families in the Solomon Islands. I'm doing something really unique- I'm going to be writing 14,000 words in 40 hours- that's 14,000 words all compiled into one big literature review on food insecurity in island nations. I hope that this will create (or at least guide/help to create) resources on the issue with my own inferences embedded into them that will eventually work towards solving food insecurity and ultimately better our world.
As someone with Indian Gujarati roots, I've grown up hearing stories about the importance of community, generosity, and helping others whenever you can. Those values have always stuck with me, which is why I wanted to get involved in the first place.
Right now, many families in the Pacific are facing the effects of climate change, making it harder to grow enough food to feed their children. The money raised will help provide seeds, tools, and training so families can grow sustainable crops and build a more secure future.
Thank you so much for your support! 💙🌏🙏
