World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

For my 40-hour challenge, I plan to stay in a single room for 40 hours to simulate a quarantine experience. During this time, I will limit my movement to one room and avoid unnecessary contact with others.

I chose this challenge because I want to better understand what people may experience when they are isolated due to illness, quarantine, or other circumstances. I expect the most difficult parts will be dealing with boredom, limited space, and not being able to interact with people as much as usual.

During the challenge, I plan to read, do schoolwork and find other activities that can be done within the room. I hope this challenge will help me develop patience, self-discipline, and a greater appreciation for everyday freedoms and social interaction.

I'm raising funds so families in Solomon Islands can get the seeds, tools and skills they need to grow crops to feed their children in a changing climate.

This kaupapa matters because in the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids are living in severe food poverty. Together, rangatahi in Aotearoa can help change that.
Your support would mean so much to me. Please donate today so kids in the Pacific get enough food to grow up healthy and strong.

Now’s the time to stand up and make a difference for our neighbours in the Pacific.
