World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
This year, I’m taking part in the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge — and I’ll be fasting for 40 hours.
For that time, I’m choosing to go without food to better understand, even in a small way, what many young people face every day. In the Solomon Islands, families are already being hit hard by climate change. Rising sea levels and extreme weather are affecting crops, food supply, and access to basic needs.
While my fast will only last 40 hours, for many, food insecurity isn’t a choice — it’s a daily reality.
The money raised will go towards helping communities access reliable food sources, clean water, and the support they need to adapt to these challenges.
I’d really appreciate your support — whether that’s through a donation or simply sharing this post. Every bit makes a difference.
Thank you for backing me in this challenge.

Hi Jillian, it's great to hear that you are doing the full 40 hours without food (and not one of the "lesser" challenges). Go well!
