I'm doing the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to help raise funds and give kids in Solomon Islands food for today, and a future for tomorrow.

In the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids are living in severe child food poverty, leaving them at risk of hunger and malnutrition. But you can help! I'm raising funds to give families tools and seeds to farm climate-smart crops and plant mangroves so that communities in Solomon Islands will have enough food to grow up healthy and strong in a changing climate.

For my 2026 World Vision 40-hour challenge, I will be completing 24 acts of character throughout the 40 hours. I will be participating in a delayed event, 1 week after the actual event. I will complete mine from Friday the 26th to Sunday the 28th. Over that weekend, I will do 24 acts of Character; for each of these, I will record: What I Did. The important part of this challenge is how I will continue these further into the future! In my next post, I will attach the specifics!

2026, my 3rd World Vision 40 Hour Challenge, new year, new challenge, new creative idea! So this year I'm going to up my game! For 2026, I am doing 40 hours, 24 acts of character, according to the VIA Institute character strengths. Details: to follow!!!

Imagine if your family's vegetable garden was constantly flooded by rising seas, , and the fish you relied on for food were becoming harder to catch. In the Solomon Islands, many families are facing this reality every day. The money raised through the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge will help communities grow stronger food gardens, plant mangroves to protect their land, and learn new farming skills so children can have enough nutritious food to eat. That's why I'm taking part – to help provide food for today and a future for tomorrow.

We're back its 2026, and it is the one and only World Vision 40 Hour Challenge! For the 3rd time, I'm stepping up to make a difference for those in our world who need it most. Donations this year will be going to those in need in the Solomon Islands. Any donation that you can make truly does make a difference.
