World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

HI! My name's Lauren and I am taking part in the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge. I will be silent for 40 hours, and not speak a SINGLE WORD. (I can still frantically make MMM!!! MMMMMMMM!!!! noises though). I will be carrying around a notepad to communicate.

Anyways, my donation goal is $500 (Edit: we have now reached this goal - lets keep going!), which will go to struggling kids in the Solomon Islands - they will be provided resources to help them grow healthy, skilled, and strong. This is a really good cause to donate to, so now is the chance to make a difference for our neighbours in the Pacific!

Hi everyone,
We have successfully reached our goal of $500. As you can imagine, this goes a long way to changing other lives in the Solomon Islands.
You don't know how much this support means to me, and I am so glad we ended up accomplishing it!

But that doesn't mean we should stop here. 

Even more donations would mean taking that extra step to helping those children's lives even more! If you have already done something to support me, you have already done more than enough. Before the event ends, let's see how far we can go to make a difference.

My 40 hour challenge is over, and we are also so close to our goal. 
This challenge required quite a bit of focus and caused a lot of frustration, but I ended up making it through. Thanks to everyone who helped me along the way, you made every step much easier.
I am really glad I took part in this challenge, and was able to raise this much money for those in need.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed and I hope we will be able to finally reach our goal of $500!

Anyways, today at 8pm I will be beginning my 40 hour silence challenge. Thanks to everyone who has donated so far!
Update on the rules - I cannot write words to communicate with others, which means no writing or texting. Instead, I will be restricted to using emojis if I want to text and drawing pictures if I want to communicate in real life. 
This adds an extra challenge, as I will be spending the ENTIRE weekend playing Pictionary.
P.S. For context, I can only write "I am doing the 40 Hour Challenge for the World Vision Fundraiser"
