World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
Hi - I’m doing the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to provide kids with food for today, and a future for tomorrow.
Food poverty is a serious issue - one in six children living in the Pacific region are experiencing severe food poverty. In my opinion, this is really unfair as they won't be getting the nutrition they need to live a good life. But we can change that.
For my challenge, I am doing 40 Hours of Independence. This means:
- Making all my meals from scratch
- Washing all my dishes and clothes
- Ironing my clothes
- Where possible, finding my own transport to places (walking, cycling, running, public transport, etc.)
- Basically, doing everything I can do myself.
This is going to be a big challenge for me as I'm not used to doing all these things for myself, but it will all be worth it to help families get food on the table.
Please donate and share my page so that we can tackle the issue of food poverty!
