World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

"For 40 hours, I'm giving up headphones to be more present with the people around me. Many young people around the world face challenges that can't simply be tuned out, so I'm using this challenge to raise awareness and support for them."

I'm raising funds so families in Solomon Islands can get the seeds, tools and skills they need to grow crops to feed their children in a changing climate.

This kaupapa matters because in the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids are living in severe food poverty. Together, rangatahi in Aotearoa can help change that.

I’m taking part in the 40 Hour Challenge to help raise money for young people and communities who need support. So far I’ve raised $63, and I’m really hoping to raise even more before the challenge ends.

Doing dance without music - can't use headphones..!!

Friday 19th Jun

I don’t have headphones, so I’m doing my whole solo dance piece with no music. I play the track on my phone at 0 volume in the morning just to check my timing/counts, then rehearse the whole thing in complete silence. 40hrs no headphones + no music = way harder than I thought, but it’s for a good cause. Every donation helps
