World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
This year, I’ve decided to join thousands of others across Aotearoa New Zealand by participating in the World Vision 40-Hour Challenge. For 40 hours, I’ll be giving up something important to me — my connection to technology.
That means no mobile phones, no laptop, no iPad, and no other electronic devices for 40 hours.
In today’s world, we rely so much on our devices for almost everything — staying in touch, entertainment, learning, work, and more. So disconnecting won’t be easy, but it’s nothing compared to the daily challenges faced by children and families in vulnerable communities around the world.
By giving something up, I’m standing in solidarity with children who go without essentials like clean water, food, safety, and education every day. The funds raised through the 40-Hour Challenge support World Vision’s life-changing work, helping to provide clean water, food security, education, and protection for children living in some of the world’s toughest places.
If you’re able to support me by donating, your contribution — big or small — will make a real difference. Every dollar goes toward creating a better future for children who need it most.
Thank you for your support and encouragement as I go offline for 40 hours to help change lives.
So proud of you Mayu akka. The boys have a great role model.
