World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

I'm here to share, encourage, and to bring you all awareness. This year I had the privilege to go up to AKL on a course with world vision, 40 HR challenge. This experience talked of poverty, injustice, and the difference us youth can make on others lives. Our world is beautiful but broken. That's a big message I took away from this. This may not feel as true for us living in NZ but for families such as Praynia’s in the Solomon islands, it is clear. These families don't have taps, education, or a solid income of food, which makes normal daily occurrences very hard. Fish move further from shore, cyclones hit the villages, crops get destroyed, so food is scarce.
Guided by compassion, world vision walks alongside families like praynias, supporting practical action as they care for their children and look ahead with hope.
So with your help, you will give food for tomorrow, and a future for life. :)
