World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

I’m doing the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to provide kids with food for today, and a future for tomorrow.

In the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids is living in severe food poverty. Together, we can change that. I'm raising funds to help families farm climate-smart crops and plant mangroves so they can feed their children in a changing climate.

Please donate now to help kids in the Pacific get enough food to grow up healthy and strong. 40 hours? Challenge accepted!

My challenge

Friday 13th Jun

Hello,

I’m Mercedes a 15 year old James Hargest student about to take on the 40 hour challenge, read below to find out more.

From 6 PM Saturday (June 14) to 10 AM Monday (June 16), I’ll be giving up all verbal communication—no talking for 40 hours—as part of the 40-Hour Challenge. It’s going to be a big test for me, but it’s for a really important cause.

Families in the Solomon Islands are being impacted by climate change—facing flooding, erosion, and food shortages. Their homes and children’s futures are at risk.

I’m raising funds for World Vision to help provide real solutions, like planting mangroves and creating climate-smart gardens.

Here’s how your donation can help:

  • $28 gives a family a garden to grow food.

  • $42 funds training for farming in a changing climate.

  • Even $2–$5 can help protect a child’s future.

If you’d like to support me and this cause donate today 😃

Thanks so much for your support!

Sincerely,
Mercedes
