40 Trees In 40 Hours
I am planting 40 trees in 40 hours to support children and families in the Solomon Islands for the annual 40 Hour Challenge.
Right now, 1 in 6 children in the Pacific face severe food poverty. Rising sea levels, extreme storms, and changing weather patterns, all caused by climate change this is destroying crops across all the Solomon Islands.
To take a stand for our Pacific neighbors, I am trading my weekend for digging tools. For 40 hours, I will be out planting 40 native trees symbolizing hope and a sustainable future.
