Kia ora my name is Oscar Norburn and I have decided to take part in the 40 hour challenge this year to support the many families in need within the Solomon Islands. This year's challenge will involve me getting rid of my hair and going without any food for 40 hours. I am doing this because I have lived a very lucky, privileged life and I need to know what it means to truly go hungry. I am also getting rid of my hair because I take it for granted how lucky I am to look after my physical appearance yet so many people's main priority is simply to survive and they don't get to care about their looks when they dont know what food will be on the table tonight.
