Hi all!

My name is Sylvie and I am a year 8 at Middleton Grange School. This is my first year doing the 40 hour challenge and I'm very excited! (You can tell by all the exclamation marks!!!!!) I will be doing 40 hours - No Furniture with my matey Kenzie. 

 We are raising money for the families up in the Solomon Islands who grow and catch all their food by themselves. Now that's all well and good, but the thing is, the water levels around their homes are rising which means that their plants are drowning and their fish live further out. All their food is slowly disappearing and they can't do much about that. Compared to us - we have the amazing privilege of being able to get food from the supermarket and find a job anywhere.

Doesn't seem fair does it?
