My akomanga Tohora Yr8 at Te Kura Tuarua o Waihi have decided to do the 40hr famine as an akomanga.
Each tamriki will do 2hrs each of No Digital Devices which will include Phone, TV, Video Games and anything out they can go on that has a digital footprint.
We are raising funds so families in Solomon Islands can get the seeds, tools and skills they need to grow crops to feed their children in a changing climate.
This kaupapa matters because in the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids are living in severe food poverty. Together, rangatahi in Aotearoa can help change that.
