World Vision 40 Hour Challenge

40 Hours of Continuous Running

This year, I’m taking part in the 40 Hour Challenge to support children in the Solomon Islands who are facing food shortages due to climate change.

To make it meaningful, my team and I are taking on a 40-hour continuous running challenge. There are four of us, and we will be running in rotating shifts to ensure that someone is running at all times for the full 40 hours, from Friday 8 pm to Sunday 12 pm, without stopping.

Each of us will complete long-running blocks, including overnight shifts, totalling around 10-11 hours of running per person. This means running through the night, managing exhaustion, and staying consistent across nearly two full days. It will be both physically and mentally challenging.

While this will push us to our limits, it’s nothing compared to what many families in the Solomon Islands face every day. Rising sea levels and extreme weather are making it harder to grow food, leaving many children without the nutrition they need.

We’re doing this to raise money and awareness for this cause.

Any donation, big or small, would mean a lot and would go towards helping provide food, support, and long-term solutions for these communities.

Thank you for your support, and feel free to share this as well.
