40 hours; 40 kilometers - Fundraising for the children in the Solomon islands
Walking 40 kilometers, insane, or no? Tamariki (kids) in the Pacific have to go through physical labour to get simple necessities such as water and food everyday. We find ourselves in a fortunate enough position to be able to fund for these people's welfare; to do something that really matters and contributes to Pasifika people’s longevity.
I’m fundraising so families in the Solomon Islands can get the appropriate seeds, tools, skills they need to grow crops to feed their children, and sanitation in an unstable environmental and economic climate.
This kaupapa matters because in the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids are living in severe food poverty. Together, rangatahi in Aotearoa can help change that; by doing this we can save lives, and fight for what's right.
Your support would mean so much to me and every child in the Solomon islands. Please donate today so kids in the Pacific get enough food to grow up healthy, strong, and have bright futures.
Now’s the time to stand up and make a difference for our neighbours in the Pacific.
