Support me in World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to donate 40 pieces of clothing in 40 hours
Kia Ora, my names Vishwani and I’m participating in the 40 hour challenge to to raise funds for families in Solomon Islands can get the seeds, tools and skills they need to grow crops to feed their children in a changing climate
The official World Vision 40 Hour Challenge for 2026 takes place from 8:00 pm on Friday, 19th June to 12:00 pm on Sunday, 21st June.
For the 40 hour challenge, I’m challenging myself to donate 40 garments of clothing within the 40 hours.
Fast fashion is actually one of the leading factors of pollution on our earth and climate change. The fashion industry is responsible for around 10 % of our global emissions which is honestly really crazy to me. Millions of tonnes of clothing end up in our landfills everyday because of the exploitative practices of fast fashion brands and constantly changing customer preferences.
When producing clothing, fast fashion brands not only use a huge amount of water and energy, they also further contribute to the long standing system of unfair working conditions.
I hope that by giving away my outgrown clothes, I can help give them a second life instead of letting them go to waste. The effort we put into making a change really does matter, and even small actions can have a positive impact.
I will be consistently adding updates to my page and donating as much as I can, even before the challenge begins.
Thank you so much for your support and for taking the time to read this :)
If you’d like to support me, please consider donating to my page.
Any and all donations are incredibly appreciated and will go directly towards helping affected families in the Solomon Islands.

This is only possible because of because of you guys and everything that you have contributed. The support you have given me in this journey, means everything!
Every donation, big or small, helps make a difference for the families in the Solomon Islands affected by climate change.
