World Vision 40 Hour Challenge
I’m doing the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge to provide kids with food for today, and a future for tomorrow.
In the Pacific region, 1 in 6 kids is living in severe food poverty. Together, we can change that. I'm raising funds to help families farm climate-smart crops and plant mangroves so they can feed their children in a changing climate.

Sunday 15th JunI completed a 40-hour challenge of giving up all non-essential technology—no phones, no social media, no TV, and no screens. At first, it felt like it would take forever. I kept reaching for devices out of habit, only to catch myself. But as the hours passed, the stillness became something valuable.
Without constant digital distractions, I found more time to reflect, rest, & reconnect—with my thoughts, God, my family & friends around me, also with nature. I started to read more. I finished my painting project. I noticed little things I usually miss.
The challenge reminded me that while technology is useful, it’s easy to let it consume more of our time & attention than we realize. After 40 hours away, I’ve gained a renewed sense of how the kids in the Solomon Islands have to do this every day and I feel so grateful how we are so fortunate to have technology, I thank all the people who donated to me, your donation doesn't just help me get to the leaderboard (which I didn't & wasn't planning to) but it is going to help kids in the Pacific region.
